Kansas Surgical Consultants Breast Center is a purpose-built facility to provide comprehensive, multidisciplinary breast care service. Our services include a wide range of clinical and support services, from screening (risk assessments) and diagnosis to treatment and counseling. Our trusted Breast Care Center team is comprised of the finest female breast surgeons available in the Wichita area.
Breast surgeries and procedures performed by our surgeons include lumpectomy (breast-conserving surgery), mastectomy, and axillary (armpit) lymph node sampling and removal. In addition, we perform excisional biopsies, duct excisions and ultrasound-guided core needle biopsies.
In addition, women may decide to have breast reconstruction the same time they have breast cancer surgery, either mastectomy or lumpectomy. In that situation, we coordinate the procedure with a plastic surgeon to help avoid an additional surgery.
